A recycling plant from the Czech Republic arrives in Switzerland – Capptoo was there for every frame.

Worn Again
Capptoo documented the transport, installation, and launch of Worn Again Technologies’ recycling plant in Switzerland. From on-site photography and timelapse footage to bilingual interviews and social media content, the project captured a major milestone in textile recycling innovation.

Some projects arrive with clean schedules and locked briefs. Some evolve and change mid-production. This one turned out to be one of the most satisfying jobs Capptoo has done.

The Protagonists

Worn Again Technologies is a pioneer in building chemical recycling technology that converts end-of-life textiles and PET plastics back into reusable raw materials. Their new production plant – assembled in the Czech Republic and transported across borders to Winterthur – was the most tangible proof yet that their technology works at scale. A functioning recycling unit, operating on Swiss soil, is exactly what investors, partners, and media need to see with their own eyes. Worn Again needed it documented properly.

They called Capptoo – a Swiss-based full-service B2B agency offering a 360-degree range of services to companies across industries. From strategy and consulting to marketing, communications, digital solutions, and beyond, Capptoo acts as a single, integrated partner for businesses that need expert support across multiple dimensions of their operations.

Content production is one of many specialized capabilities within Capptoo’s broad portfolio – deployed here as the right tool for a very specific client need.

The Script

Capture the full journey and installation in photos and video. Deliver 70 curated documentary stills, a cinematic reel for social media, a timelapse in email-ready format, and two finished interview versions — one in German, one in English.

The Action

The Plant Moved Faster Than Anyone Expected

The installation timeline shifted, and the plant arrived a full day ahead of schedule.

Capptoo’s crew was there first.

That kind of responsiveness doesn’t happen by accident. It requires people who stay ready – equipment packed, travel plans flexible, no attachment to the original schedule. Throughout the shoot, the team ran multiple cameras simultaneously: timelapse, B-roll, interview setups, and documentary stills all captured in parallel.

The installation moved at its own pace, and every significant moment happened exactly once. There were no second takes.

Mid-shoot, the brief shifted too. Framing changed. Interview formats were adjusted. Capptoo adapted without stopping the clock, losing quality, or interfering with the plant installation.

Postproduction

Bilingual, Broadcast-Ready

Conducting interviews in two languages – with two separate finished versions, each feeling natural and polished – required careful on-set direction and a dedicated post-production pass for each language. Custom graphics, subtitles, brand-specific slides, and last-minute revision requests were absorbed into the workflow without pushing delivery.

Product delivery – What Worn Again Received

At project close: 70 curated, edited documentary photographs. A cinematic documentary reel cut for all major social media platforms. An email-friendly timelapse. Two fully finished interview versions in German and English. Everything consistent, channel-ready, and deployable from day one.

Worn Again’s motto – The future is now – fits the moment precisely.

A working, scalable recycling plant running in Switzerland is the future made visible. Capptoo’s job was to make sure the world could see it clearly.

That’s exactly what we did.
